Bitcoin remains below a resistance cluster near the threshold with little time to recover, so a September 11 price at or above $81,500 is unlikely.
Bitcoin is around $79,101, roughly 3% below the threshold, after several failed attempts to hold above $80,000. Resistance spans the level it must cross, while recent selling, distribution by tracked holders, and macroeconomic pressure constrain the remaining window. Same-day inflation data could still produce a sharp move, and Bitcoin recently traded above $82,000 amid fund inflows and short covering. An at-or-above-$81,500 settlement is therefore unlikely.
