Sep 4 forecast

Ethereum is trading above the $2,490 floor with hours remaining, so a settlement at or above the threshold is likely.

Ethereum enters the final hours near $2,522 after several September 4 snapshots placed it between roughly $2,501 and $2,524, consistently above the $2,490 threshold. The cushion is narrow enough for ordinary crypto volatility to erase, especially with documented resistance near $2,530 to $2,550 and recent large-holder selling. Still, the current level and strong daily rebound make an at-or-above-threshold settlement the more likely outcome.

Points to YES

Ethereum is currently above the settlement threshold, providing a small but meaningful cushion.
On September 4, live market data recorded Ethereum at $2,524.36, above the $2,490 threshold.
Strong same-day momentum supports Ethereum remaining above the threshold.
On September 4, CoinGecko data showed Ethereum at $2,513.68 after gaining 4.3% over 24 hours.

Points to NO

Nearby technical resistance could halt the rebound and trigger a retreat below the threshold.
On September 4, Ethereum faced resistance between $2,530 and $2,550, with rejection potentially exposing support near $2,438 to $2,440.
Recent large-holder selling shows substantial supply pressure remains active.
By September 4, one Ethereum whale had liquidated 167,855 ETH worth about $408 million over roughly five days.
ETF outflows or another rise in Treasury yields could renew downside pressure during the remaining window.
On September 4, HTX Insights warned that continued ETF outflows or renewed Treasury-yield increases could send Ethereum back toward $2,400.
